2.Why do you need a RDVT-01 Drawing Volume Tester?
Using vacutainers (blood collection tubes) in high-altitude areas can present some challenges due to the changes in atmospheric pressure and partial pressure of gases at higher elevations.
At higher altitudes, the atmospheric pressure decreases. This can affect the filling of vacutainers, particularly those that rely on pressure differences to draw blood into the tube. The lower atmospheric pressure might result in slower or incomplete blood collection.
Changes in atmospheric pressure can affect the partial pressure of gases in the blood, leading to altered blood composition. This can impact tests that are sensitive to variations in blood gases.
Manufacturers may subject their vacutainers to pressure testing to simulate conditions at different altitudes. This helps assess the impact of reduced atmospheric pressure on the blood collection process.

4.Test Principle of RDVT-01 Drawing Volume Tester
Insert the test vacutainer into the puncture site of the test system to make it consistent with the pressure inside the vacuum tank; then make it form different pressure values inside according to the altitude of the area where the vacutainer is used.
Wait for 1 minute. Then measure the weight change between the empty vacutainer and the one after it’s filled. The difference is regarded as the drawing volume.
