Hot Tack Testing Equipment measures the strength of heat seals formed between thermoplastic surfaces immediately after the seal has been made and before it cools to room temperature. Hot Tack Testing Equipment also has functions of heat seal, tensile and peeling force test.

6. Advantages of hot tack testing:

It quantifies the impact of dump loading a bag on the hot seal integrity on a vertical form fill and seal machine.

Higher hot tack and seal strength at lower temperatures is advantageous.

Adding 30% LLDPE compound to LDPE films significantly enhances hot-tack seal strength.
