Wall thickness tester is a traditional bottle and container thickness measurement by using physical touch or contact method.

Wall Thickness Gauges is equipped with a test stand with a thickness gauge. It is the ideal wall thickness measuring instrument for PET drink bottle, can, glass bottle, aluminum pot, infusion bottle, beer bottles, oral liquid bottles, ampoule, penicillin bottles etc.

3. Principle OF Wall Thickness Gauges

Measure the thickness of the bottom of the bottle

1). By adjusting the fixed fixture of the digital dial indicator, align the measuring head of the dial indicator with the upright measuring rod probe, and turn on the digital dial indicator; make the measuring head of the dial indicator contact the measuring rod probe and Compression is about 0.50-0.80mm;

2). Press the Zero button to clear, and insert the bottle under test between the measuring head and the measuring rod of the dial indicator;

3). Gently turn and move the position of the bottle. At this time, the display on the dial indicator is the thickness of the bottom of the bottle at different positions.

Measure bottle wall thickness

1). Adjust the fixed fixture of the digital dial indicator so that the measuring head of the dial indicator is in contact with the curved measuring rod probe. Turn on the power of the digital dial indicator so that the measuring head of the dial indicator contacts and compresses about 0.50-0.80mm;

2). Press the Zero button to clear, put the bottle under test between the measuring head and measuring rod of the dial indicator, gently rotate and move the bottle position back and forth, at this time, the display on the dial indicator are the different positions of the bottle wall thickness.
